The Club is a gathering point for students interested in all disciplines of Mechanical design and related knowledge with the aim of promoting and supporting an enthusiasm for aesthetic and efficient design of Mechanical components. Students are organized in a team format for a year-long stretch with the option to stay longer if they choose to. During the year, all team members are given design related tasks that complement existing skills and develop new ones. we regular take part in various design competition oriented around the mechanical domain.
Examples of these skills are 3D visualization, designing 3D product, CFD etc. In addition to acquiring these skills, members are expected to pursue their individual 3D design and analysis in Solidworks, ANSYS, AutoCAD etc. that utilize these new skills in original works of mechanical knowledge, thus applying the newly acquired skills in practical situations in line with industrial design and simulation that strongly emphasizes translating theory into practice.
