Chungnam Samsung Academy (CNSA) is an autonomous private high school located in Tangjeong-myeon, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. Established in 2014 by Samsung Electronics through the Chungnam Samsung Academy Foundation, the school is an International Baccalaureate (IB) accredited institution, offering globally recognized educational programs. The school’s motto is “Autonomy, Creativity, Dignity,” emphasizing the cultivation of self-directed, innovative, and dignified individuals.
CNSA respects students’ autonomy and creativity, aiming to nurture individuals of character. Through a variety of educational programs and club activities, the school supports students’ holistic development. Students can design personalized curricula by selecting from 13 diploma-based courses that align with their career interests and aptitudes. The school offers 16 diploma programs across three main tracks:

Humanities and Social Sciences: Literature, History, Philosophy, International Languages, Social Sciences, Economics and Business, IB (Humanities)

The diplomas are categorized into four types: CNSA, Bilingual, Honor, and IB. Students have the opportunity to earn multiple diplomas by fulfilling the requirements of courses outside their primary track.
