The team is a part of the Chemical & Environmental Process Engineering group at SINTEF. CO2 capture team-mates have been working with solvent development for post-combustion CO2 capture since 90s. We have been developing methods for solvents screening and characterization in one of the first EU project on CCS - CASTOR (FP6 2004-2007) and in CLIMIT project SOLVit (2008-2017), one of the largest projects in SINTEF history.
The team offers also competence and infrastructure for testing gas separation membranes
