About Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education

The Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) is a research-practice partnership within the Harvard Graduate School of Education. We are dedicated to the discovery of and insight into the postsecondary faculty experience. Through partnerships with COACHE, academic leaders at more than 300 colleges, universities, community colleges, and state systems have strengthened their capacity to identify the drivers of faculty success and to implement informed changes. Offering survey and administrative data, comparisons to self-selected peers, innovative approaches from exemplary institutions, and one-on-one and team consultations, COACHE is a true partner in creating the conditions in which faculty do their best work.
