Coastal Airconditioning Services (Pty) Ltd. is a company that was constituted as a result of a management buyout of the service and manufacturing divisions of the Western Cape branch of Improvair Environmental Solutions (Pty) Ltd in 2002.
The Company is now owned and managed by three directors, all of whom were previous employees of Improvair in the Western Cape and all of the existing staff of the two divisions purchased were transferred to Coastal Airconditioning Services.
The Company operates from offices and workshops in Wetton, Cape Town where our 102 employees are based. Our modern workshop facility is 2150 square meters in extent, and contains state of the art CAM machinery for the production of quality sheet metal products focussed on the air-conditioning industry. Our spiral duct facility is the only producer of spirally wound round ducting and gore locked fittings in the Western Cape. We have further the capacity and expertise to provide a range of manufactured sheet metal products to other industries.
Our Service and Contracting Divisions focus on HVAC maintenance, repair and installation work, ranging from single user unitary installations to large central plant. Our installation capabilities extend to retrofit and new installations incorporating, design, project management and installation of plant, electrical and control systems. Our service technical employees are all qualified air-conditioning technicians, and we offer a 24-hour, seven-day week call out facility, via a vehicle fleet of 20 equipped service vehicles which ensure the mobility required to efficiently serve our customers.
