CODE Club Overview

Coding with Digital Experience is a Rwandan Code Club initiative aimed at equipping high school students with essential digital skills and practical coding experience. Originating at ALU, our mission is to bridge the gap between theoretical ICT education and hands-on application, providing students with a collaborative platform for learning, innovation, and confidence-building in technology. Our programs include interactive coding workshops, national competitions, and mentorship opportunities designed to ignite curiosity and inspire Rwanda’s youth to pursue careers in tech. With a commitment to gender equity, we ensure that at least 60% of our participants are girls, helping to empower young women in the tech field. Our Vision: To reach at least 30 high schools by the end of 2026, empowering students across Rwanda with foundational coding skills and a passion for technology. We’re actively seeking partnerships, mentors, and sponsors who share our vision for digital literacy and youth empowerment. Join us in shaping the next generation of tech leaders in Rwanda!
