Center of Optimization and Intelligent Decision Making in Healthcare Systems (COID-Health) is founded in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) under the license of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology of IUT on 11/1/2020.
The mission of COID-Health is to conduct leading research and attract projects in the fields of optimization and decision-making in health systems to improve the efficiency of patient diagnosis and treatment processes. These researches are interdisciplinary with a focus on the following topics:
- Mathematical models and intelligent computational methods specifically on human resources planning in the healthcare systems.
- Optimal design of healthcare systems
- Data-driven detection of diseases and superior treatment methods
- Treatment plan and provide services to patients
