CoLAB VINES&WINES

CoLAB VINES&WINES is the Portuguese wine sector’s Collaborative Laboratory. Promoted by the ADVID, the association that also houses the sector’s national Wine Cluster, has as its major role the development and communication of science and technology to support the growth of the sector and prepare it for the major challenges it faces. To this end, VINES&WINES promotes the cooperation between a wide network of companies and research institutions, creating a collaborative environment capable of driving gains in both competitiveness and sustainability. VINES&WINES mission is to generate and communicate knowledge and technology to: - sustain the ambition expressed by the sector to enhance the growth of export value. and - prepare and adapt the national wine system to the major challenges it faces, of which climate change is, perhaps, the greatest.
