CollegeBrain is about questions and answers. CollegeBrain supplies answers derived from surveys of millions of real students at schools across the country who share their experiences, anecdotes and points of view about the schools they are attending. Students can also ask questions about the issues that concern them ranging from completing applications to life on campus or which courses to choose. The CollegeBrain methodology is transparent – the sources of information are clear from the open survey process. CollegeBrain is a private social network where college students answer questions, offer opinions and swap stories with each other. Entries can be shared selectivity with trusted friends or posted to the broader community openly or anonymously. CollegeBrain affords the privacy to encourage students to honestly answer questions about the areas of student life that are important to them. It provides a place to push their (often non-Facebook acceptable) "I drank too much story," the "I was so high I couldn’t find the library and wandered around until I found Pizza." story. They need a trusted, secure, social messaging network which CollegeBrain uniquely provides.
