COLORADO BLACK ARTS MOVEMENT (CBAM) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 African American arts advocacy organization that promotes, encourages, and advances Black artists and the arts economy that supports them. Doing business as FreshLoArts focuses on local artists in the Denver Metro Area, especially Black artists and other artists of color locally and nationally whose work tends to remain outside of the mainstream arts economy. CBAM created educational programs for and in the area of: *Children *Youth *Adults/Seniors *Digital Art *Music *Theatre *Summer Youth Programs *Arts, cultural activities, and much more... CBAM Goals: *Create affordable space for artists (especially artists of color) across disciplines to perform, teach, practice, and thrive. *Provide a place for children in Montbello to engage in art-focused, in-school, after-school, and summer programming. *Provide flexible programming spaces for art-related nonprofits, individual artists, and art groups to offer programs and activities.
