COMITES Portogallo is an officially elected body representing Italians living in Portugal in relations with diplomatic-consular representations.
Each Committee promotes, in collaboration with the consular authority, with the regions and with local Institutions, as well as with bodies, associations and committees operating within the consular district, appropriate initiatives in matters relating to social and cultural life, with particular regard to the participation of young people, equal opportunities, social and educational assistance, professional training, the recreational sector, sport and leisure of the Italian community residing in the district.
