Our mission is to heal our communities through urban gardening to provide food access, grow resilience, and regenerate our neighborhoods.
In 2015, we gathered a small group of our Venice Beach neighbors to reconnect our broken and disconnected community. We built 80 street-side raised gardens to connect to the power of nature by growing food for our neighbors in need. Through the simple act of gardening, we are living proof that all things grow with love.
Today, Community Healing Gardens provides healthy locally-grown food for those in need, hands-on garden and climate education, job training, and economic opportunity by cultivating deep collaborations with the Los Angeles schools and communities we serve.
