The Compagnie Irene K. is a contemporary dance company that was founded in 1977 with artistic direction of Irene Kalbusch. For the creations, she works with professional dancers of different nationalities. The company has adopted a style that can be assigned to contemporary “dance theater”.
The choreographies are not narrative; the room opens in all directions, in ever new constellations. The human with his wishes, fears and visions are the basis of the choreographic work.
