Colonial Cultural Heritage (CCH) is critical, facing transformative changes in textbooks, public spaces, museums, and cultural consumption. These shifts have significant impacts on present-day intergroup relations among diverse socio-demographic groups. Understanding how these groups navigate these changes is crucial, which is the primary goal of the EU-funded CONCILIARE project. CONCILIARE employs an interdisciplinary and multi-methodological approach to gain a nuanced understanding of reactions to and representations of changes in CCH. Through small-scale pilot trials across European countries, the project aims to map the evolving landscape of CCH and develop evidence-based methods to foster societal confidence during this transformation.
