We promote construction, communicate a clear education pathway to students and highlight the region's opportunities. The objectives of Construction East: • To raise awareness of the different construction professions. • To inspire young people in Norfolk, to become construction professionals. • To promote construction education pathways in Norfolk. • To raise awareness of different routes to becoming construction professionals. • To ensure a pipeline of construction talent exists in Norfolk. • To encourage Educators and Industry to work together. • To encourage other organisations committed to improving the skills crisis to collaborate. Every business working in the construction sector in Norfolk will find recruitment a challenge. Construction East aims to organically improve this, so that our talent pool can grow in a sustainable way. This journey must be sustainable. We propose the pathway starts in schools, through colleges and further education, and into higher education.
