We are an architecture student group based at the University of Montreal aiming to raise funds to contribute to the construction of houses in developing countries, notably in Kenya. We also hope to develop research by allowing students to contribute to the self-construction process by traveling on site.
We are currently working in partnership with the Jomo Kenyatta University in order to design low-cost, sustainable housing for Kaza Mwendo, a group of Nairobi’s slum dwellers that united to buy a land in Machakos, in desire of creating for themselves a safe space that they can call Home.
