Copecto is a 100% Subsidiary of DG Nexolution eG with the aim of developing and offering innovative and sustainable products and services. The first product of Copecto is the world’s first fully biodegradable card body for the payment and non-payment sector – the TIMBERCARD®. The card body TIMBERCARD® is made of 100% FSC-certified, pure wooden layers. As a sustainable alternative to conventional cards, the TIMBERCARD® has already reached market maturity and is currently proving itself in initial pilot projects for payment cards. Copecto is responsible for global sales and marketing and coordinates the production and personalization of the innovative wooden cards. The company is based in Wiesbaden, Germany.
