Cords have over 30 years of cumulative experience in the electrical harness/loom manufacturing industry and is a subsidiary of Linkqage.
We currently employ over 20 employees and our factory, which is conveniently located in Brooklyn, Cape Town utilizes many automated/semi-automated crimp presses and wire cutting and stripping machinery.
Cords manufacturers a wide variety of harness/loom assemblies used in the automotive, avionics, communication, industrial, medical, mining, renewable energy and transportation sectors. We also specialize in manufacturing coiled (curly) cords for communication and power applications.
We can manufacture from a drawing/specification or a sample. If we can locate the parts, we can manufacture the harness/loom – hence our slogan “Making the connection for you”. We can also assist with any final product assembly work, and we specialise in sourcing “hard-to-find” cable types, so if you can’t find a specific cable give us a try.
Cords is highly committed to delivering harness/loom assemblies that meet the highest quality standards, and we are IPC/WHMA-A-620 certified.
