The Cornell Sports Research Conference (CSRC) allows students from across the globe to share sports-related research while networking with like-minded students and faculty. Research topics are interdisciplinary, addressing areas such as action anticipation, analytics, architecture, artificial intelligence, collective bargaining, economics, interaction inference, law, psychology, sociology and turf science in sports. The 2025 Conference will feature research by students and faculty from Cornell and guest universities in addition to panel discussions and one-on-one meetings with recruiters.
With seed funding from the Cornell Center for Social Sciences, Kevin Kniffin alongside co-organizers Emily Zitek and Drew Margolin produce an event that offers windows into students' research on topics including decision-making by players, teams, and tournament-directors as well as numerous demographic trends across sports.
