Costa Recruitment Services (CRS) has its roots in the heart of the community, originating from a simple yet impactful initiative known as Gibwork. Founded on February 24, 2011, by Jonathan Costa, Gibwork began as a Facebook group aimed at helping an individual who had been unemployed for two years. Jonathan decided to leverage his network of friends and family to share job vacancies and opportunities. Within two weeks, the individual found a job through the group’s connections, marking the start of a powerful community-driven platform. Gibwork quickly grew through word of mouth, becoming the largest local Facebook group dedicated to job networking, with over 60,000+ members The platform has helped thousands of people find employment, including both locals and frontier workers.
From the beginning, our commitment to giving back has been evident. We invested in tools and resources to support job seekers without expecting anything in return, except the success stories of those we helped. This ethos of giving back laid the foundation for CRS. Costa Recruitment Services takes this further by rewarding employees when they successfully secure a job through our platform. We were the first to implement such a reward system, which is in place to make their first day—often considered the hardest—as easy as possible. Details of this reward system will be explained further in person, highlighting our dedication to not just connecting talent with opportunities, but also celebrating their success and supporting their transition. By 2013, our team expanded to include key contributors to our social media presence. Alicia Costa and Filip Welc joined the group, helping to manage and grow our online community.
Today, CRS builds on the legacy of GibWork, continuing to provide exceptional recruitment services with a professional touch. As a distinct business entity, CRS enhances its services through a strategic partnership with GibWork.
