CoNI Mission Statement
The Council of Nursing Informatics (CoNI) is committed to advancing the knowledge and skills of informatics science with our members. The council works to include all aspects of nursing informatics through continuing education presentations, topical discussion sessions, and networking. The council is committed to inclusivity and invites different experiences for the improvement of all members.
Vision:
CoNI's vision is to enhance awareness and engagement within the nursing community and beyond. Our newly established board is dedicated to promoting pivotal activities that ensure our efforts are widely recognized and supported, driving innovation and excellence in nursing informatics.
Goals
1. Increase Awareness: Implement targeted communication campaigns to introduce new board members and highlight their roles and contributions. Utilize newsletters, social media updates, and participation in in-person events.
2. Showcase Activities: Provide regular updates on the board's activities, including innovative projects, and collaborative efforts with other healthcare organizations. Disseminate these updates through various channels to keep members informed and engaged.
3. Develop a Sustainable Roadmap: Create a long-term, sustainable roadmap outlining strategic priorities and initiatives for the coming years. Develop this roadmap with input from members to ensure the continued growth and impact of CoNI.
