Coventry Irish Society company information, Employees & Contact Information

Coventry Irish Society provides a service to all generations of the Irish community in Coventry and the surrounding areas. The Coventry Irish Society (formerly known as ICARG) was set up in 1993 in response to a need to provide health and welfare services to some of the most vulnerable members of the Irish community in Coventry. Our organisation has gradually evolved to provide a wide range of health and welfare services, and a variety of cultural and heritage projects, including a St. Patrick's Day Festival. Aims Our main focus is to help the most vulnerable members of the Irish community in Coventry and we continue to prioritise this. Coventry Irish Society also acts as a ‘gateway’ that enables Coventry’s Irish community to access other mainstream services. Another fundamental aim for the Society is to promote a positive sense of Irish identity and promote Irish heritage and culture within the city. Coventry Irish Society is affiliated to the Irish in Britain, that is the umbrella organisation for the Irish community in Britain.
