Coworth provides recovery-focused life coaching using coaches that have mental health lived experience. According to a 2007 ABS survey in mental health, almost 50% of Australians aged over 16 will experience mental ill-health at some point in their lives. And given that survey was before COVID-19, there's a very high-change this includes you or someone very close to you. Mental ill-health covers a wide range of conditions: anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, drug/alcohol disorder, schizophrenia, to name just a few. Experiencing this is deliberating to your physical health, productivity and relationships. So that's the bad news. The good news is that there is a community of people who've walked through it. People who understand and have tremendous insight: "I know what it's like to be stripped of everything, to be sitting in a place of fear and total loss of control. I can offer the insight from that experience. That's powerful stuff that will get someone through."
