Craft Aid International is a charity which enables, empowers and supports people with disabilities. We work in the UK and in the developing world. In the UK we run weekly therapeutic craft workshops for adults with disabilities in the community and also for long-term hospital inpatients, particularly stroke patients and brain-injury patients.
In the developing world, we equip churches to set up not-for-profit social enterprises for people with disabilities living in poverty, to provide them with handicrafts training and employment opportunities, to enable them to support themselves and their families with dignity, rather than having to rely on street begging.
