Crazy Color® was fuelled by a revolution and over 40 years later our ethos remains the same: we want to inspire you to explore your creative side. Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. The anti-establishment movement was forming a new wave of style and fashion. During a time when anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist recognised tastes were changing and had the foresight to create a truly unique range of semi-permanent hair colour. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and pushed the boundaries even further as he developed an innovative new range of rainbow shades. Always adopting a brave and avant-garde approach to hair colour, Renato encouraged young hairdressers to make hair colour as fashionable as the haircuts. He became a mentor to many of the top names in the hairdressing industry. He was a dedicated ambassador for the hairdressing community and worked tirelessly to promote the industry worldwide. Today we hold true to that legacy by working closely with our salon community including our fantastic Ambassadors.
