Creative Africa is an art and culture consultancy with a focus on cultural production and advocacy. We are building global platforms that equip, connect and showcase creatives and cultural workers of African decent.
Against the backdrop of an expanding global creative economy, in the age of the African creative, with literature, visual art, performance and pop culture from the continent in high demand, there’s a growing need for experts to help navigate the labyrinth of opportunities in today’s creative space, and Creative Africa is your go-to partner.
Our work caters to the growing number of storytellers, across mediums, and cultural workers, from across Nigeria, Africa and the black diaspora, with a strong bias for young emerging voices between 15 and 35. We believe the stories we tell about our lives and our societies have the potential to shift perceptions and influence socio-economic outcomes. This is why our festivals, fellowships and hands-on workshops, masterclasses and school outreaches are focused on empowering and showcasing a generation of storytellers, shaping craft and building confidence.
Creative Africa also works with partners, across the public and private sectors, to develop effective strategies for engaging their publics, through dynamic artistic/cultural projects and content vehicles. We help articulate project goals, and identify possible forms for delivering them in a sustainable and measurable manner.
