Despite the overwhelming access to social media platforms, news sources, blogs, websites etc, it is very confusing and difficult to find relevant information when a crisis hits and we saw that with Covid 19 all our communication channels failed to give us relevant location-wise info about some of the most important things regarding the crisis and where to seek help. Examples include: what was happening in grocery stores, where people were going to get tested, if something happened to us which hospital can we go to etc., and now these days for unemployment guidelines or small business loans, it is almost impossible to get clarity on many topics. The only way that has helped is to have discussions with someone who has gone through something similar if you are lucky to find one. That is why we are building Crisis-Help to provide a dedicated information exchange platform, location wise, user to user about the information related to a Crisis. People can ask/share information about a certain topic which can be beneficial for the fellow users and through a review system their information will be graded. More good quality information people post, more status they will get. We start with Covid-19 and then span it across all Crises in future..
