My name's Josh Hallaran and I'm an independent game developer from the Central Coast, in NSW, Australia. For over a decade, I've been making games under the business title of Critical Games.
Most notably, I’m the creator of the 8-Bit Adventures series, which has sold over 48,000 units across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.
I have directed, written, designed, built, self-funded, and launched 10 commercial games over the past 14 years, often working alongside talented freelance developers. I predominantly create story rich Japanese-style RPGs.
While I work with others, this is a sole trader business, and so I'm not looking to hire anyone. Thank you very much for your interest though.
