Over the past 39 years, the principals of The Crowley Group have succeeded in creating technology, telecommunications and infrastructure ventures in the US, Europe and Latin America. These businesses include, 1) Crowley Cellular, which by 1990 was the second largest privately-held mobile telephone company in the US. 2) Conectel, one of the largest paging and wireless data communications companies in Latin America 3) Crowley Data Poland, previously Central Europe’s largest fixed wireless broadband operator 4) Salmon PCS, a multibillion-dollar joint venture with AT&T Wireless to build and operate wireless networks in 45 US markets. Recently, The Crowley Group has developed and/or invested in new ventures in Financial Products (DXM) and an Artificial Intelligence technology that increases the efficiency of power plants, lowers costs and reduces greenhouse gas emissions (AI Energy Partners). In connection with such entrepreneurial and investment activities, The Crowley Group has co-arranged approximately $4.5 billion in financing and partnered with companies and investors including: The Blackstone Group, AT&T Wireless, SAIC and Lucent Technologies.
