Crowner-Coleman Publishing Overview

Kathryn L.Crowner and I started this publishing company in our home in October 2006 in response to our desire to bring to the marketplace self-help material that focused on helping men and women take charge of their own lives. Our mission was, and still is, to help individuals become their own therapist--so to speak--their own authority, without depending on the current religious, political and social institutions to make their choices for them. We believe people contained within themselves the divine power to create the kind of life they want, thus, our goal as a publishing entity was to offer books which took individuals on a journey of spiritual self-exploration, not from an analytical frame of reference, but from an observational frame of reference in which individuals do not judge themselves as right or wrong, moral or immoral, but simply learn to accept themselves the way they are without trying to be what others expected them to be. Our goal is to get down in the emotional trenches where people live. Many people struggle with self-esteem issues and family and relationship problems and are often bombarded with everything pop psychology has to offer. Crowner-Coleman wants to offer their customers something different, a new paradigm of how to look at these problems and formulate their own solutions.
