Crystal Industries is aiming to be a leader in the plastic industry. Crystal Ind. also wishes to remains a first mover in new technologies and applications with regards to the food and beverage plastic industry. This is why the executive team is always looking at new opportunities to improve the current companies' product quality and performance but also lead in the set up of new units in the field.
HISTORY
Crystal Industries Group is part of the Castel Group, internationally renowned french group.
Crystal Industries group formerly named SIB started operations in 2001 with the creation of a cap injection company SIB. It then integrated itself in the preform injection business with SIPA.
In 2007, Crystal came up with the idea of setting up a revolutionary industrial unit for North Africa as it is the first of its kind: a hot washed recycling plant. The company named Valorflakes was established with difficulties due to the lack of cooperation of the former government. However, Valorflakes finally established itself in 2012 and started operations in 2013.
In the same time, the Executive team took on another big challenge: set up a PET manufacturing plant in Tunisia. Here again Crystal Industries is a first mover in the market as it is the first PET plant in the Maghreb.
