CSK Research Solutions was born in 2014 secondary to Dr. Catherine Kahabuka’s strong passion for contributing quality evidence to inform effective public health programs and service delivery systems. While working as a young medical doctor in a rural district of Tanzania, she observed many system challenges inhibiting people's access to available life-saving interventions. This made her abandon her life-long ambition of becoming a pediatrician and instead pursued a PhD in health systems. Believing that research is a "vital part" of effective programs, she invested in developing strong research skills. Since its inception, CSK has continuously invested in developing strong research skills among its team members, which has made the firm gain great reputation in delivering high quality research deliverables to its clients.
To-date, CSK has offered research services to more than 30 institutions (both local and international) in various fields, including in the field of Public Health, Health Systems Strengthening, Education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Marine Conservation and Innovative Technologies.
