The Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa (CCAP) is one of Europe’s largest and most diverse service collection for living strains of micro-algae, cyanobacteria, protozoa, small seaweeds and algal pathogens from marine, freshwater and terrestrial environments.
We are hosted at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) and have been funded by the Natural Environment Research Council since 1970.
