CUPSO

The Consortium of University Public Service Organizations provides a forum for networking and information exchange between "pracademics" — university colleagues who provide training, technical assistance, policy research, and/or other related services to state and local governments, non-profit organizations and other community partners. CUPSO connects leaders and staff of university public service instituted and centers with peers across the country who understand the public service mission and work of organizations that combine academic knowledge with practical application. Each year CUPSO hosts two flagship events: our Annual Conference and our Fall Directors Meeting. The Annual Conference provides networking, peer learning, and professional development opportunities for all CUPSO member staff as well as potential members and any partner organizations interested in learning more about university-based public service work. The Fall Directors' meeting is a more intimate gathering for directors and deans of member centers, institutes, and schools. This meeting provides an opportunity to learn from each other and to collectively address common challenges.
