CyberFirst Yorkshire is a regional hub of the CyberFirst programme, a UK-wide initiative led by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). It’s designed to inspire and develop the next generation of cyber security professionals through engaging, hands-on learning opportunities and industry connections.
Aimed at young people aged 11–17, CyberFirst Yorkshire supports digital skills development through school outreach, competitions, events and career pathways into the growing cyber and tech sectors.
CyberFirst Yorkshire empowers students to explore cyber security by building their technical skills, problem-solving abilities and understanding of real-world digital threats. It also connects educators and industry leaders to help ensure young people are prepared for the jobs of tomorrow.
The Yorkshire delivery is a partnership between Kings Priory Digital and RTC North. This collaboration brings together Kings Priory Digital's innovative education approach and RTC North’s expertise in industry engagement.
Together, they are helping to grow a vibrant cyber community across the region, working with schools, colleges and businesses, to raise awareness, provide training and spark interest in cyber careers.
Through interactive workshops, and initiatives,CyberFirst Yorkshire ensures the region’s young people have the tools and inspiration they need to succeed in a digital future.
