The CZECH TEAM 96 association was founded in July 2009. The core team members are former football representatives, participants and finalists of the European Championship 1996.
After an agreement with the Football Association of the Czech Republic will Czech Team 96 become the official Czech Republic national football team in category 35+ which should represent the Czech Republic at official events organised by UEFA and FIFA.
The primary goal of the association is to raise funds for charitable purposes and especially for the “Football Internationals Foundation,” which for many years contributed to the material and social valuation of our former football representatives. Among them is one of the most successful football generation of great players around Josef Masopust, World Cup finalist 1962 in Chile.
Organization of sport events, tournaments, charity and socially beneficial events for the purpose of sports promotion, especially football itself are included among our activities. Every year we take part in several charity football and hockey matches and tournaments, we annualy organize our own GOLF TOUR and beneficial tennis tournaments.
