The Danang Biotechnology Centre (DBC) is currently a state science and technology organization, established in 2010 by the People's Committee of Danang City. In 2020, our project "Upgrading the Danang Centre for Biotechnology into a Research and Development Institution for South - Central Vietnam region" was approved. A total budget of USD ~30 million was assigned for improvement of facilities and infrastructure, and a package of research projects. DBC is committed to driving innovation in biotechnology, especially in bioprocessing of functional foods, pharmaceuticals, novel foods and healthcare products from indigenous bioresources.
