As you read this, danceaid is transforming lives across the UK, Africa & Asia - providing support, protection, and opportunity to 000s of vulnerable children. *UK – Child Welfare* danceaid provides emergency grants for the neediest of children & families in the UK referred to us by social workers, probation officers, and health professionals. Beneficiaries include disabled children for whom we provide specialist equipment, and children caring for chronically ill parents/relatives for whom we provide respite opportunities. We also help with the most basic of support to families that fall through the net of support from anywhere else. *AFRICA – AIDS orphans* danceaid funds a multitude of projects which make a phenomenal difference to the lives of innocent AIDS orphans in sub-Saharan Africa, where 1 in 5 people are living with HIV, and dying prematurely of AIDS. This silent virus leaves children without parents and vulnerable to hunger, homelessness, exploitation, and abuse. danceaid funds provide safe-havens, meals, counselling, and links to job opportunities, to protect, nurture, and sustain suffering young people. *ASIA – Education for street children in Manila* On the streets of Manila, the capital of the Philippines, children as young as three years old live and work on the streets. Instead of carefree days in school, hundreds of hungry children roam with their brothers & sisters, begging for food and searching out anything they can sell to help them and their families survive. Direct medical & nutritional intervention and education are the 1st stages towards giving a chance of a future to 00s of street children by supporting them in a secure and loving environment. We are raising money to extend the opportunity of education to 00s of these children. In this street education program, street educators (often who have endured childhoods on the streets themselves) provide a lifeline and a chance of a healthy, happy future to vulnerable young kids.
