Danquilah Solar Venture (DSV) is based in Kano city, NIGERIA.
DSV objectives are to provide renewable energy solutions that decarbonizes energy stratosphere.
DSV is a local research and development driven innovation that do the work of poor and middle classes in energy sector.
DSV products include but are not limited to L.E.D Lamp, Lithium Ion Battery, Solar Dryer, and Hybrid Mobile Cold-room.
DSV had designed, installed, repaired and operate various types and sizes of solar (PV) systems in Kano, Kaduna, Gombe, Niger and Abuja. In 2016 DSV redesigned and revived the Kainji Dam Hydroelectricity Model located at Faculty of Engineering, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria. In 2020, DSV participated at curriculum development on renewable energy at National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Kaduna. From 2021 to Date DSV founder has been a Business Consultant with Enterprise Development Centre on Transforming Nigerian Youth Project funded by MasterCard Foundation. DSV also was a stakeholder with Engineeringxpress project on sustainable engineering education through innovation and industry based skills development and practice in Nigeria at National Engineering Centre, National Mosque–Labour House Road, Central Business District, Abuja in liaison with Faculty Of Engineering, University Of Nigeria, Nsukka (June 2023 to September, 2023). DSV founder is however, a Mentor on Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A) July 2024 to date.
On 12th April, 2023, DSV has acquired its first patent on “Hybrid Mobile Cold-room”, a cooler and electricity generator in one place. It is powered by wheel rotation, solar photovoltaic, motorcycle engine or grid electricity supply.
