Founded in 2023 by three Hungarian business partners based in Gauteng, Danube Engineering Supplies (DES) is named after the grandiose Danube river, which is synonymous with European culture and sophistication. Likewise, our experienced team strives to deliver sophisticated and refined products and services to our esteemed clients in South Africa. We are specialized in providing state of the art engineering machines and accessories. Despite being founded in 2023, our company has deep roots in South Africa, having two sister companies, namely Gencsi Services CC and Gencsi Machine Tools CC, which span for over 30 years and are directed by Attila Gencsi, one of the most well respected names in the market. One of DES’ most important objectives is to ensure that the customer is treated to a high quality product whilst being conveniently served, thus each one of our clients can expect a fully customized service with functionality and convenience at its very core.
