The Addiction Practitioners Association of Aotearoa New Zealand (DAPAANZ) are the professional association for people working in addiction treatment. We support and foster an excellent, ethical and culturally responsive addiction workforce that helps people struggling with addictions to get high quality, effective help.
DAPAANZ supports members by providing professional development opportunities, managing practitioner endorsement and registration, advocating on behalf of practitioners and clients, and ensuring ethics and competencies are upheld. DAPAANZ is an incorporated society and a registered charity, affiliated to the Allied Mental Health and Addiction Group and a member of the NZ Drug Foundation.
