Dastaan, the film and photography society of Bharati College, University of Delhi, formed in 2022, is a team of eccentric and brilliant people who believe in unboxing the orthodox. Dastaan aims to foster and develop the talent of filmmaking while also analysing cinema closely. The society gives the platform for new ideas of short movie/documentary productions, workshops/webinars with filmmakers, cinema critics, photowalks, and picture Exhibitions to stem into a beautiful tree. The society also acts like fresh air in the community's lens that is foggy by the low-quality reels. We nourish a pedestal for hidden gems to shine and allow diving deeper into their themes and techniques with regular movie screenings and discussions.
