Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Royse manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Royse practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Our office can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
The surgical staff at Davis Oral Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are CPR certified. The front office staff are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies.
A native resident of California, Dr. Samer Albadawi is elated to have the privilege of practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in his home state. Dr. Albadawi is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA. Dr. Albadawi went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Dental Medicine, where he successfully earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Masters in Public Health (MPH). Once he discovered his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Albadawi completed a one-year surgical internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesia training at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, NJ where he served as chief resident in his final year.
