D&BTech has extensive experience in the design of bioreactors for very diverse sectors. We have applied our knowledge on fluid mechanics and complex mathematical models to the optimization of chemical and biological reactors, with the aim of reducing energy consumption, improving mixing processes and increasing quality. We have more than 15 years of experience in microalgae waste water treatment (WWT), which has led to the development of proprietary technologies protected by patent. Microalgae WWT, both for urban and industrial wastewater, has many advantages: CO2 capture, cleaner effluent, circular economy, lower energy consumption... We have several industrial pilots, among which we highlight the Center for New Water Technologies (CENTA), dependent on the Ministry of the Environment of the Junta de Andalucía. We also offer numerical simulation (CFD) services, consulting and equipment design for sectors such as chemical engineering, microalgae cultivation and aquaculture in general. D&BTech has worked successfully for prestigious companies such as Repsol, Aceitunas Guadalquivir, Abengoa or FCC Aqualia.
