Mr Derek Ling received his Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College. He received his Master’s and was a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University. He also later completed the “Executive Program for Growing Companies” at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Mr Ling has been a trail blazer of internet business in China. He was the founding team and vice president at Sina.com, and later director of business development for Apple. As a serial entrepreneur, he has also built the No.1 Professional Social Network in China, which was successfully acquired. He is currently investing in the TMT space and mentoring a young crop of promising entrepreneurs, in areas including education, social media, AI and VR.
