De Innovatiecentrale is een experimenteer- en ontwikkelruimte op de Automotive Campus in Helmond. Bij De Innovatiecentrale kunnen Nederlandse wegbeheerders nieuwe technologieën en diensten op het gebied van Smart Mobility testen op de echte weg, in het echte verkeer, tussen echte weggebruikers. Daarmee wordt direct zichtbaar wat het effect is van een nieuwe technologie op het verkeer en op verkeersmanagement.
De Innovatiecentrale is een samenwerkingsverband van Connecting Mobility, DITCM, Provincie Noord-Brabant, AutomotiveNL en Rijkswaterstaat.
