Decorator's Notebook is an online shop selling beautiful and ethical home accessories. We work with social enterprises, fair trade groups and artisanal co-operatives around the world to create a collection of luxury homeware designs. Decorator's Notebook is based in the UK and we deliver our unique products throughout Europe and the USA. Our customers are design-savvy homeowners who don't want to compromise their style or their conscience. We elevate the status of ethical design by offering exceptional quality products, whilst empowering talented artisans in developing countries to build a more stable future for themselves and their families. The Decorator's Notebook blog was established in 2011, followed by the launch of the Decorator's Notebook e-commerce website in October 2013. The company was Co-founded by siblings Bethan John and Joe John. Their backgrounds in interior design journalism and e-commerce development allow them to bring a fresh new perspective to homeware retail. Decorator's Notebook was named Startup of the Year 2014 by The Guardian newspaper. We have been featured in magazines including Homes & Gardens, Country Living, Elle Decoration, Living Etc, Ideal Home, House & Garden, Country Homes & Interiors and House Beautiful; newspapers including The Sunday Times and The Telegraph; and blogs including Design Sponge.
