In memory of Deepika who slept in the Lord in 1983, Mr. Daniel and Mrs. Indira Daniel started Deepika memorial primary school in1984 with 7 students. In subsequent years, new classes were added with first batch completing 10th class in 1994. With the requirement for higher studies in Shadnagar, Deepika Junior college was established in 1995 comprising of MPC, BiPC, CEC and HEC in both English & Telugu Medium.
