Delight Engineers & Consultants Ltd., DECL (erstwhile BECL) is a new name in the professional services of Bangladesh. Although new in the arena, this has already marked its presence through strong competitive bids in some of the major projects of the country. Being new, it entails lack of experience for eligibility and hence mostly requires to be associated with some experienced companies. A good number of reputed engineering and other professional firms have signed MOU with DECL to render services in accordance with their suitability. Providing engineering consultancy services since 2012, DECL has already gained some experience in this profession. At present DECL provides consultancy services in the areas of Investigation & Studies, Preliminary Engineering, Detailed Engineering, and Project Management & Supervision. Fields cover Development of Road Network, Transport planning, Soil Investigation and Analysis, Surveying and GIS Mapping, Feasibility Study & Preparation of Master Plan, Environmental & Social Studies, Urban & Regional Planning, and Housing & Landscaping. Major clients of DECL include among others Roads & Highways Department (RHD), Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) of Planning Commission, Rajdhani Unnoyan Kartipakkha (RAJUK), Chattogram Development Authority (CDA), Khulna Development Authority (KDA). With a view to serving the nation by rendering the consulting services maintaining professional ethics and quality, the DECL became the member of Bangladesh Association of Consulting Engineers (BACE), Member of Dhaka Chambers of Commerce and Industries (DCCI), and became the consultant of Asian Development Bank (ADB). DECL is also a registered Real Estate Developer of RAJUK. The Board of Directors is headed by Engr. Md. Nurul Huda as its Chairman. A Managing Director, four Directors and an Executive Director constitute the top management of the Firm.
