Deniyaya Central College is one of the frontline national schools in the Deniyaya region which boasts of an illustrious history dating back to many years. The school had its inception on the novel ‘Central Schools Concept’ propagated by ‘the father of free education of Sri Lanka’, late minister of education, Mr. C.W.W. Kannangara.
